Jen Carty Sphr

Jen Carty, SPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Jen is currently working as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Magna Hospitality Group, L.C. Prior to this, Jen held the position of Human Resources Manager at RSCC Wire & Cable LLC, where they also served as a Human Resources Generalist. Jen has also worked as the Corporate Human Resources Manager at HEI Hotels & Resorts and as the Director of HR Operations at Marriott International. Earlier in their career, Jen worked as a Human Resources Manager at Waterford Hotel Group, Inc. and as an Employee Services Representative at Big Y World Class Market. Jen'sdiverse roles and experiences have allowed their to develop a well-rounded skill set in the field of human resources.

Jen Carty, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse educational background. Jen obtained a Master of Science (M.S) degree in Communications and Information Management from Bay Path University, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree in Psychology/Forensic Psychology from the same institution, completing their studies from 2003 to 2007.

In addition to their academic achievements, Jen has pursued various certifications to enhance their professional skills. Jen obtained the "Recruiting Techniques to Reveal Transferable Skills" certification from LinkedIn in July 2023. In July 2022, they completed the "Diversity & Inclusion Certificate" from Central Connecticut State University. Furthermore, in June 2022, they earned the "SHRM People Analytics Specialty Credential" from SHRM.

Jen holds the "Senior Professional in Human Resources - International (SPHRi)" certification from HRCI, obtained in August 2020. Jen also received multiple certifications from the SHRM Foundation, including "Employing Abilities @ Work" in May 2020 and "Veterans at Work Certification" in March 2020.

Lastly, they hold two certifications from SHRM: "SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)" and "SHRM-SCP," both obtained in February 2020.
