Ian McFarlane is a highly experienced professional in system architecture and software engineering, currently serving as a Sr. Staff System Architect at Magna International, where work focuses on infrared imaging algorithms. Prior to this role, Ian was a Sr. Diagnostics Software Engineer at KLA, contributing four years of expertise in diagnostics, calibration, and software architecture. Academic experience includes a postdoctoral position at the University of California, Berkeley, where Ian developed a near infrared two-photon microscope and served as Instructor of Record for an introduction to neuroscience course.
