Nick Bayne

Nick Bayne has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Nick most recently served as the Security Operations Team Lead at Magna5 starting July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Cyber SOC Specialist for Cyber Defense Labs from October 2021 to June 2023. Nick was also an Information Security Analyst at NTT Ltd. from March 2014 to October 2021. Nick began their career as an IT Intern at PC Network Services, Inc. from October 2013 to March 2014. Before transitioning into the cybersecurity field, Nick worked as a Graphite Technician at II-VI Incorporated from May 2010 to July 2012 and as a Parts Associate at Gatto Cycle Shop from March 2009 to July 2010.

Nick Bayne has a Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Forensics and Information Security from Robert Morris University, which they obtained from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Information Technology from Pittsburgh Technical College from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, they attended Universal Technical Institute, Inc. from 2006 to 2008, where they studied Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair Technology/Technician. Nick graduated from Mars Area High School in 2006 with a degree in General Studies. In terms of certifications, Nick has obtained the SANS GIAC GSEC certification from SANS Institute in November 2016 and the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA in June 2014. Nick also holds the Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) certification from Palo Alto Networks.
