Guillermo Velazquez Ibarra

Guillermo Velazquez Ibarra has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Guillermo started their career at Sony Electronics, where they held roles as an Assistant Manager and later as the SMT Manufacturing Engineering and Quality Department Head. Guillermo then moved on to Ensambles Hyson, where they served as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, overseeing various departments. Following this, Guillermo joined Cisco, initially working as a Technical Operations Manager and later as the Sr. Operations Manager, responsible for managing multiple plants and leading various aspects of operations and contract management. Most recently, they joined MagnaFlow as the Plant Director. Overall, Guillermo has showcased their expertise in manufacturing, engineering, quality assurance, and operations management throughout their career.

Guillermo Velazquez Ibarra has a well-rounded education history. Guillermo obtained a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2008 to 2011, with a focus on Administration. In 2010, they completed a course in Project Management from Boston University. Prior to their MBA, Guillermo pursued a Masters degree in Computer Science from Instituto Tecnologico de Tijuana from 1998 to 2000.

Guillermo's undergraduate studies took place at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from 1991 to 1995.
