Ali Arshad

Ali Arshad has a strong background in business development and merchant acquiring. Ali currently holds the position of Executive Director - Merchant Acquiring & eCommerce Business Development at Magnati since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director - Merchant Acquiring & eCommerce Business Development at the same company starting from April 2021.

Before joining Magnati, Ali worked at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) where they were the Manager of Business Development PoS & E-Commerce from November 2017 to April 2021.

Ali also gained valuable experience as the Customer Loyalty Manager at Finance House, where they worked from November 2014 to October 2017.

Earlier in their career, Ali held various roles at Mashreq Bank. Ali served as the AVP - Cards Acquiring from September 2012 to November 2014, where they managed and grew the portfolio of key merchant relationships. Ali was also responsible for ensuring revenue targets were met and overseeing support teams. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Development Manager, Team Leader, and Sr. Relationship Executive & ATL at Mashreq Bank.

Ali's work experience dates back to their time at Union Bank Limited, where they started as a Personal Banker in January 2003 and continued until August 2005.

Overall, Ali Arshad has accumulated broad expertise in merchant acquiring, business development, and customer loyalty throughout their career.

Ali Arshad completed their B-Com degree in Commerce and Banking from Punjab University between 1999 and 2001. Later, in 2013 and 2014, they attended XLRI Jamshedpur & AIMS Dubai, where they completed an Executive Relationship Management Program focused on Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Marketing.
