Lianna Gao

Lianna Gao has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Lianna started their career at Goldman Sachs in 2010 as an Associate. In this role, they specialized in modeling and analyzing interest rate, FX, and credit risks for banking and specialty finance sectors. Lianna advised clients on minimizing earnings volatility and capital funding risks through hedges and derivatives.

In 2016, Lianna joined Magnetar Capital, where they held various positions. Lianna initially served as a Business Development Associate, working on client services. Lianna'sexceptional performance led to a promotion as Deputy COO of Business Development in 2019. Lianna's most recent role at Magnetar Capital is as COO of Business Development and Head of Client Services, starting in 2023.

Throughout their career, Lianna has demonstrated strong analytical and strategic skills, along with expertise in various financial products and client management.

Lianna Gao completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics at Duke University from 2006 to 2010.
