Naomi Gunasekaran

Naomi Gunasekaran has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting. Naomi started their career at EY in 2007 as an Audit Senior and later became an Audit Manager. Naomi also had a secondment as an Audit Senior. In 2013, they joined Empyrean Capital Partners, LP where they worked in accounting for two years. Currently, they are working at Magnetar Capital as the Deputy CFO - Systematic Investing since January 2020. Prior to this role, they were the Assistant Controller at Magnetar Capital from 2015 to 2019.

Naomi Gunasekaran holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Sydney. In addition, they have obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in May 2015 and the Certified Public Accountant certification from the California Board of Accountancy in April 2009.
