Alan Gilchrest serves as the Chief Digital and Technology Officer at Magnit since August 2025. Previously, Alan held the position of Vice President of Enterprise AI, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure, and First Customer Experience at Palo Alto Networks from October 2023 to May 2025. Alan also served as Chief Technology Officer at LivePerson from June 2018 to February 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing all product development and engineering, with notable contributions such as the invention of the Meaningful Automated Connection Score (MACS). Prior to that, Alan held various roles at Amazon, including Global Head of Dialog Management for Alexa, and at Target as a Senior Program Manager. Alan began a career in consulting at Deloitte Consulting LLP. Alan earned a BBA in Management Information Systems from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business.
