Asif Chowdhury

Asif Chowdhury has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. Asif is currently working at Magnolia Oil & Gas as a Lead IT Solution Architect since December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at EnerVest, Ltd. for 10 years, starting as a SharePoint Administrator/SQL DBA in December 2010 and later becoming the Supervisor of E&P Database Systems and SharePoint Farms in January 2015. At EnerVest, they successfully architected and deployed company intranet, internet, and extranet sites in SharePoint, enabled SharePoint BI functionalities, and played a development role in various customizations and workflows. Asif also served as a SQL administrator and provided data support to several Oil&Gas applications. Before joining EnerVest, Asif worked at SpecTec as a Project Lead and IT Consultant, and at IUCN as a Database Developer. Asif started their career at SODEXO (former SODEXHO) as a Security Analyst.

Asif Chowdhury completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Asif then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Computer Information System at the University of Houston, graduating between 2009 and 2011.
