Catherine Cai

Catherine Cai, PE, SE, is a Senior Structural Engineer at Magnusson Klemencic Associates since March 2018. In addition to this role, Catherine serves as an Avalanche Awareness Instructor for the Northwest Avalanche Center since November 2021. Previous experience includes working as a Structural Engineer at HNTB from January 2016 to March 2018 and as a Superintendent at Kiewit from August 2012 to May 2015. Catherine also held the position of President at SC Outfitters from January 2009 to May 2012. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering and Mechanics from the University of Washington (2016-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California (2008-2012).
