Marie Bond

Marie Bond is a Design Engineer at Magnusson Klemencic Associates since July 2023, with prior experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Marie has worked as a Structural Designer at Shive-Hattery, an Undergraduate Student Researcher focusing on Nonlinear Dynamic Analysis and Performance-Based Design at Engineering2Empower, and held various positions including Structural Engineering Intern at Frost Engineering & Consulting and Preservation of Heritage Buildings Research Assistant at the University of Notre Dame. Marie's educational background includes a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, along with research experiences in New Zealand and Italy.
