Terry Palmer

Terry is a Senior Principal at MKA and leader of the Aviation Specialist Group, where he has been responsible for the design of more than $5.5 billion in airport terminals, concourses, and aviation-related facilities. He also mentors MKA’s Blast Specialist Group, is the co-author of the blast-resistant provisions in the "Recommended Security Guidelines for Airport Planning, Design and Construction (PARAS 0004)," and has presented multiple times at the annual ACC/AAAE Airport Planning, Design, and Construction Symposium. Terry’s innovative structural designs at active airports are tailored to allow the facility to remain operable 24/7 with uncompromised operations and security. In addition, his structural design solutions embrace resiliency and adaptability so the architectural wayfinding and future use are optimized.
