Dominick Danao

Dominick Danao has extensive work experience in various industries and roles. Dominick is the Founder and Chief Product Officer of Xpensio Corp. since 2018 and previously founded and served as CEO of Magpie.IM Pte Ltd in 2015. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Globe Telecom, where they held the positions of Head of Innovations & Solutions Delivery and Vice President of Innovations. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant at Tech Mahindra in 2012 and served as a Consultant at San Miguel Corporation from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, Dominick worked as the President of Happy.Mobile Corp from 2008 to 2010 and held various leadership positions at Sun Cellular from 2003 to 2008, including Assistant Vice President. Dominick also founded, chaired, and served as CEO of Pinoymail, a successful Internet company in the Philippines, from 1998 to 2003. Dominick began their career as an Editor at TODAY newspaper in 1993 and also worked as a Lecturer at the University of the Philippines in 1996.

Dominick Danao attended the University of the Philippines from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a focus on Computer Sciences. Dominick then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a specialization in Journalism, from 1989 to 1995, also at the University of the Philippines.
