José María Castro Maqueda

José María Castro Maqueda is an experienced engineer specializing in photovoltaic plant design and construction project coordination. Currently serving as an Ingeniero de diseño de plantas fotovoltaicas at Magtel since December 2017, responsibilities include system design and integration, as well as project engineering for the construction of the PSFV Palma del Río. Prior to this role, José María contributed to R&D efforts at Magtel focused on solar plant optimization and production forecasting. With a background in industrial engineering gained from the Universidad de Córdoba and a Master’s degree in Industrial Process Control from the Universidad de Jaén, José María also has experience in industrial assessments and project management across various sectors, including water services and hospitality.
