Ramesh S

Ramesh S has over 22 years of work experience in various roles related to supply chain management, procurement, and materials management. Ramesh is currently the Head - SCM Planning & Logistics at Mahindra Last Mile Mobility since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Group Manager - Sourcing & Procurment at Royal Enfield (A Unit of Eicher Motors Limited) from April 2017 to October 2021.

Before joining Royal Enfield, Ramesh served as a Team Manager - Strategic Sourcing at Royal Enfield from October 2013 to March 2017. In this role, they were responsible for completed bike development, including sourcing of engine and chassis parts, new product cost estimations, budgeting, source selection, part development, cost and quality management, and logistics.

Ramesh also gained experience as Deputy General Manager - Materials at Greaves Cotton Limited from September 2012 to October 2013 and as Sr. Manager - Procurement at TAFE - Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited from December 2010 to August 2012.

Ramesh'searliest work experience was as Manager - Materials at ELGI EQUIPMENTS LTD, where they worked from November 2000 to December 2010. In this role, they led the casting, forgings, and machining commodity, focusing on purchasing, cost reduction projects, inventory management, and supplier development activities with expertise in castings, forgings, and heat treatment processes.

Ramesh S completed their education in Mechanical Engineering from Vinayaka Mission's Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College during the years 1992 to 1996.
