Steven Gianakopoulos

Steven Gianakopoulos is the P&B at Mahindra Automotive North America. Steven has over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting, with a focus on budgeting, forecasting, capital appropriation, and revenue plan administration.

Previously, Steven was the Financial Reporting Manager at CareTech Solutions, where they directed the finance and accounting teams to successfully complete two year-end closes and an annual operating plan within a three-month period. Steven also led the finance manager in the implementation of an innovative product offering that was new to the Information Technologies Marketplace.

Before that, Steven was a Senior Financial Analyst at GM and then the Finance Manager for the Seating Sytems Division at Lear Corporation. At Lear, they maintained a detailed Labor Analysis Report for our Shared Services Business Unit in order to validate and maximize our staffing needs against Revenue. Steven also prepared Monthly Executive Packages and reviewed results with the CFO and Finance Manager.

Steven has a proven track record of success in finance and accounting, with a strong focus on team management and mentorship. Steven is a strategic thinker who is able to see the big picture and make decisions that are in line with corporate objectives.

Steven Gianakopoulos received their MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy and their BS in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.

Steven Gianakopoulos reports to Basant Bhansali, Deputy CFO. They are on a team with Tom Maynard - Banking/Cash Management, Renée Grenaco - Invoices, and Amy Bastien - Finance/CONTRACT.
