Angus Blackford

Angus Blackford has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Angus is currently working as a Principal Design Engineer at MAHLE. Prior to this, they worked as a Systems Engineer at Thales Defense & Security, Inc. In 2020, Angus joined Aggreko as a Systems Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Development Engineer. Before joining Aggreko, they served as the Head of Product Engineering at Cutitronics. Angus also gained experience as a Development Engineer and Senior Design Engineer at MAHLE Powertrain Ltd. and as a Design Engineer at MAHLE Powertrain. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Smith Electric Vehicles, and as a Design Engineer at both DAF Trucks NV and BRACE Automotive.

Angus Blackford earned a BEng in Product Design with Motorsport from the University of Strathclyde in 2008. In 2012, they completed their MSc in Computer Aided Engineering with Analysis from the University of the West of Scotland. Angus Blackford also obtained the certification of Chartered Engineer (CEng MIMechE) from the Institution of Mechanical Engineers in 2015.
