Solon Cunha

Solon Cunha currently serves as the Head of Brewing Technology at Mahou San Miguel since September 2023. Prior to this role, Solon held the position of Chief Technical & Operations Officer at Bio2Coat Natural Preservation Technology, focusing on natural, edible solutions for food preservation and packaging. With extensive experience in the brewing industry, Solon has worked in various capacities at Anheuser-Busch InBev, including Global Product Innovation Director and Global Raw Materials & Co-Products Director. Additional roles include Director of Innovation & Technology Development at Grupo Modelo S.A. de C.V. and a series of positions focused on product and process development at Tetra Pak. Early career experiences at The HEINEKEN Company involved brewing operations and quality compliance. Solon holds a Master's degree in Brewing from the University of California, Davis, and a degree in Food Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, along with post-graduate studies in Project Management.
