Rahul Pathak

Rahul Pathak has extensive experience in biotechnology, currently serving as Team Leader at Mahyco since March 2002, where responsibilities include the development of insect pest resistant transgenic plants using Agrobacterium and particle gene gun mediated transformation. Achievements include the successful creation of transgenic rice, pigeonpea, and cotton with various genes. Previously held the position of Assistant Research Scientist, focusing on genetic transformation of crop plants and techniques such as gene delivery and protein expression. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Microbiology from Government College of Arts and Science.
