Senior Client Advisor & Managing Director at MAI Capital Management

Matt is a Senior Client Advisor based in New York City who specializes in business management for professional athletes, entertainers, and high-net-worth individuals and families. He joined MAI in 2021 following the acquisition of Monarch Wealth and Business Management, where he was a Managing Director since 2010.

Matt started his career as an Analyst at Guggenheim Partners in 2006 focusing on wealth management as well as structuring corporate-owned insurance policies. In 2008, he took on a role at Massey & Quick & Co. LLC as a fund analyst concentrating on alternative investments and fund of funds before joining Monarch.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance & Sports Marketing from Indiana University- Bloomington in 2006. Matt was awarded the honorary title Kentucky Colonel, the highest honor awarded by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in recognition of his noteworthy accomplishments and outstanding service to the greater community. In 2020, he was selected to Billboard’s Top Business Managers as well as being named to Variety’s Business Managers Elite.

He has been actively involved in various charity organizations – including the National Meningitis Association (Auction Chair), the USO, and the Run to Daylight Education Program. He co-founded the charitable organization, City Seats, which repurposed original seats from Yankee Stadium as unique artist-designed works and then auctioned them off to benefit the Boys & Girls Club.
