Stan V. Smith, Ph.D. has had a long and varied career. Stan V. began their professional life in 1969 as a Staff Sargeant in the US Army. In 1973, they became an Adjunct Professor at the University of Chicago. In 1985, they became President of Smith Economics Group, Ltd. and a Board of Directors member of the Wright Institute. In 1990, they became an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University and a Board of Editors member of the Journal of Forensic Economics (JFE). In 1999, they joined the National Association of Forensic Economics (NAFE) as a Member of the Board of Directors and Vice President. Most recently, in 2018, they became a Director at MAIA Biotechnology, Inc.
Stan V. Smith, Ph.D. earned their Ph.D. in Economics, Finance, and Econometrics from The University of Chicago - Graduate School of Business Ph.D. Program between 1968 and 1973.
