John Steers

John Steers has held various prominent positions throughout an extensive career in finance and management. Currently serving as the Chairman and Honorary Treasurer of Maidenhead Rowing Club since December 2020, John has also been the Managing Director at Alt Finance Ltd since 2012. Prior to this, John spent over 13 years at Credit Suisse in various executive roles, including Managing Director and Global Chief of Staff for the CFO Division. John’s earlier experience includes roles as Head of Projects in Operational Risk and Deputy UK Country Manager. John's career began at Arthur Andersen as an Auditor and Consultant in the Financial Markets Division, with a secondment at the Bank of England in the Review/Inspection Team. John holds a BA Hons in Chemistry from the University of Oxford and is a Chartered Accountant with ICAEW, complemented by a finance program at IMD.
