Innocentia Rakosa Kunene

Innocentia Rakosa Kunene has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Innocentia started their career at Dimension Data as a contact centre agent in 2004. Innocentia then moved on to FNB South Africa as an online banking consultant before joining Corobrik as an internal sales executive in 2005. In the same year, they also worked as a key account manager at Bidvest Waltons. From 2012 to 2015, Kunene held the positions of key account manager and head of education portfolio at Mail & Guardian. Innocentia then joined Independent Media (Pty) Ltd as a commercial head from 2015 to 2020. Innocentia'srole at Maverick Media Services as a managing director began in 2019 and they are currently serving as the head of special projects & events at Mail & Guardian since May 2022.

Innocentia Rakosa Kunene pursued their education in a chronological order. Innocentia attended Parklands High School from 1996 to 2000, where they completed their Matric certificate with a focus on Mathematics, Science, Economics, and Accounting. Following that, from 2002 to 2003, they obtained a certificate in marketing from Damelin. In 2009 and 2010, they studied practical project management at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, specializing in Project Planning, Scheduling, and Costing. Moving forward, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Marketing Management from Mancosa. Most recently, they completed their Master's Degree in International Business, specializing in the dissertation topic "Global Expansion Strategy into Africa," from Mancosa between 2014 and 2016.
