Tom Sargent has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tom started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant and later became a Research Assistant and Software Developer at Thales. During their time at Thales, they also served as a Research and Development Engineer, working on projects related to defense, space, transport, aerospace, and e-security industries.

After their tenure at Thales, Tom worked at SOARIZON by Thales as a Full Stack Developer and later as the Head of Marketing/Growth Hacker. In these roles, they focused on innovation, scalability, and user connectivity, implementing growth strategies and techniques to drive user acquisition, onboarding, monetization, retention, and virality.

Tom then joined Vault Platform as the Head of Growth & Marketing, where they applied growth hacking principles to drive the company's growth through data-driven strategies. Tom managed the growth and marketing team and utilized techniques to experiment, test, and measure results.

Tom played a crucial role in the marketing and inbound lead generation for the rapidly rising tech startup in the gaming and metaverse space.

Tom also served as the Head of Marketing at SportsIcon, assisting in the development and execution of marketing strategies.

Currently, Tom is a Founder & CEO at Expensive JPEG and a Marketing Strategy Manager at Mailchain.

Tom Sargent began their education by attending Collingwood College 6th Form from 2008 to 2011. During this time, they pursued Systems Engineering but did not obtain a degree.

Tom then went on to study at the University of Reading from 2011 to 2015, where they completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Robotics & Artificial Intelligence.

In addition to their formal education, Tom has also earned several certifications. In 2015, they completed a course on Content Marketing from HubSpot Academy. Furthermore, they have obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including "Machine Learning for Marketing: Essential Training," "Growth Hacking Foundations," "Growth Hacking Tips," "Learning REST APIs," "Learning React.js," "UX Design: 1 Overview," and "Using Python for Automation."
