Sebastian Schubert

Sebastian Schubert has a diverse work experience, with their most recent role as COO at mailo AG since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Wizard Smart Solutions from October 2019 to October 2021.

Sebastian also held various leadership positions at Bombardier Transportation. From December 2017 to October 2019, they served as the COO - Vice President Operations Bogies. Additionally, they held the role of Managing Director, Vice President Rolling Stock Equipment for Americas from July 2014 to December 2017, where they led a profit and loss as well as a sales organization for train equipment and components in the USA, Canada, and Latin America. Sebastian was responsible for approximately 300 people and successfully implemented sales strategies for multi-million Euro projects. Prior to this, from June 2011 to June 2014, Sebastian held the position of CPO - Head of Procurement Propulsion and Controls at Bombardier Transportation.

During their tenure at Bombardier Transportation, Sebastian also held other roles, such as Director, Global Head of Indirect Goods and Services Procurement from 2007 to 2010, Manager Group Procurement Strategy from January 2003 to December 2006, and Business Analyst Group Strategy from 2002 to 2003.

Sebastian Schubert completed their Vordiplom in Business Administration at Universität Passau from 1996 to 1998. Sebastian then pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General at ESCP Business School, graduating in 2001. In 2007, they obtained a Doctorate in Economics from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg.
