Raúl Ramos

Raúl Ramos has a long and varied work experience. Raúl began their career in 2003 as a freelance web developer and then became the founder of Costa Brava Homes and Global Yacht Charters in 2003 and 2004, respectively. At Global Yacht Charters, they held the position of IT Manager and was responsible for web development, basic sysadmin, and SEO. In 2006, they founded Rumbo Sailing.net, where they held the role of web developer, basic sysadmin, and was responsible for SEO and PPC campaigns. In 2008, they joined Factorsim as a web developer and project manager, where they were responsible for the entire project lifecycle. From 2011 to 2017, they worked at Atrapalo.com as a Technical Product Manager and Web Developer. In this role, they managed a team of 5 to 10 members and was responsible for users, marketing channels, reviews, and the Gift Voucher product. Finally, from 2017 to present, they have been the CTO of MailTrack.io, where they have grown the team from 5 to 20 members, including Frontend, backend, QA, and Data teams. Raúl has implemented Scrum to execute work in a devops culture organisation.

Raúl Ramos received their Ingeniero Superior in Informática from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona between 1998 and 2003. Raúl also holds a Certificate in Advanced English, a Zend PHP 5.3 Certified Engineer, a M101JS: MongoDB for Node.js Developers from MongoDB University (obtained in 2013), a Functional Programming Principles in Scala from Coursera (obtained in 2014), and a Principles of Reactive Programming from Coursera (obtained in 2015). Raúl is currently pursuing an Executive Master in Artificial Intelligence from the Instituto de Inteligencia Artificial, expected to be completed in 2022.
