Alexandra Piussan

Alexandra Piussan is an experienced Emergency Medical Technician, currently serving at Maimonides Medical Center since October 2022 and at SeniorCare Emergency Medical Services since February 2021. Previously, Alexandra held research positions at Georgetown University Medical Center, including an Undergraduate Senior Research Assistant role focused on the FGR tyrosine kinase in Chronic Recurrent Multifocal Osteomyelitis under Dr. Alexander Theos and a Research Assistant role involving the recruitment of Spanish-speaking patients. Earlier experience includes a position as a Student Research Assistant at Fundación INFANT, where Alexandra investigated epidemiological factors related to Respiratory Syncytial Virus in Buenos Aires, Argentina, while gaining shadow experience in pediatric clinics and hospitals.
