TJ Hays

TJ Hays has a diverse work experience in the field of lighting and live events. Starting in 2018, they worked as a Lighting Intern at Zeo Brothers Productions before joining the University of Pittsburgh Theatre Arts as an Electrics Shops Employee in 2018. In 2019, they worked as a Lighting Designer at Firebird Theater, followed by a position as a Live Event Technician at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in 2021. In the same year, they also worked as a Lighting Designer at Valley High School Theatre. In 2022, they briefly worked as an Assistant Lighting Designer at the International Festival of Arts & Ideas before joining Main Light as a Warehouse Associate for a few months and eventually becoming a Moving Light Technician.

TJ Hays completed high school at Perkiomen Valley High School from 2014 to 2018. Later, from 2018 to 2022, Hays pursued a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts with a Lighting Design Focus at the University of Pittsburgh. In August 2020, Hays obtained a NYU Music Industry Essentials Certificate through Yellowbrick Music Industry Essentials institution.
