Vice President Strategy Business Development And Digital Transformation at Main Line Health

Praveen Shanbhag has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Praveen is currently a NextGen Leadership Fellow at the American Hospital Association since 2022. Prior to this, they held roles at Main Line Health, starting as a System Director of Strategy and BD from 2016 to 2022 and then promoted to Vice President of Strategy, Business Development, and Digital Transformation in April 2022. Before Main Line Health, Praveen worked at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as the Sr. Director of International Strategy & Business Development from 2015 to 2016, and before that, they were the Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development from 2012 to 2014. Their previous experience includes roles at Duke University Health System as an Associate Director of Strategic and Business Development Planning from 2008 to 2012 and as a Senior Analyst from 2004 to 2007. Praveen also worked as a Senior Associate at AVOS Lifesciences from 2007 to 2008.

Praveen Shanbhag completed their Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from KVG Dental College and Hospital in 1998. Praveen then pursued a residency in Dental Surgery at B.R. Ambedkar Dental College from 1998 to 1999. In 2002, Praveen earned their Master's degree in Health Administration (MHA) from Cornell University, specializing in Health Administration. Additionally, they obtained the AHA Next Generation Leaders Fellowship from the American Hospital Association in 2023.
