System Director, Patient Experience at Main Line Health

Suzanne Smith, M.Ed., CPXP, is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in patient experience and quality improvement. Currently serving as the System Director of Patient Experience at Main Line Health since August 2022, Suzanne focuses on fostering a culture of empathy, excellence, and accountability across clinical teams and leadership. Prior roles include Director of Patient Experience at Penn Medicine and Senior Director of Patient Experience at Mercy Health System, where strategic initiatives enhanced patient advocacy, service delivery, and operational excellence. Additionally, Suzanne contributes to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at Neumann University, teaching Health Promotion. With a strong background in operations, quality standards, and patient care metrics demonstrated through work with CARF International as a Surveyor, Suzanne combines leadership experience with a commitment to improving healthcare outcomes. Educational credentials include an MS in Health Education from Saint Joseph's University and a BS in Communications from SUNY Brockport.
