Tobi Burch-Williamson, RHIA, CCS has a strong background in medical coding and healthcare reimbursement. Tobi began their career at Hahnemann Hospital as an Inpatient Coder, where they were responsible for reviewing medical records, assigning codes, and utilizing 3M encoder and ClinTrac abstracting systems. In 2005, they transitioned to the role of APC Coding Coordinator at Hahnemann University Hospital, where they monitored billing reports and conducted internal audits to ensure coding quality and proper reimbursement. In 2013, they joined Sutherland Healthcare Solutions as a Remote Hospital Coder, working remotely to code and audit hospital accounts. Tobi then worked as a Medical Coder at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from March to October 2018. Currently, they are employed as a Lead Medical Coder at Main Line Health.

Tobi Burch-Williamson, RHIA, CCS, holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Information/Medical Records Administration from the University of Cincinnati, obtained in 2022. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician from the Community College of Philadelphia between 2002 and 2005. Tobi also holds additional certifications including Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), obtained in 2022, and Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), obtained in 2014. Tobi also obtained the RHIT certification in 2007.
