Lulu Avalos

Lulu Avalos is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as an LPC-C Mental Health Provider, Batterers Intervention Program Facilitator, and Mental Health Educator at the Latino Community Development Agency since August 2021. Prior roles include Care Consultant at the Alzheimer's Association® from October 2022 to August 2023, and Counselor Intern at Palomar from June 2019 to August 2021. Lulu's experience also encompasses serving as a Shelter Advocate at YWCA Oklahoma City, Parent Educator at Parent Promise, and Administrative Assistant/Case Manager at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. Lulu holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Oklahoma and two degrees in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma. An educational background in Physical Anthropology and Anatomy was achieved at Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia.
