Carolyn Walker is an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in government and community relations, specializing in public relations, media, and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as the Acting Economic Development Manager for the Shire of Irwin on a part-time contract since November 2022, Carolyn Walker also holds the position of Senior Stakeholder and Community Engagement Consultant at Main Roads WA, where project management encompasses significant infrastructure initiatives. As the owner of Carolyn Walker Public Relations, Carolyn Walker has developed a strong reputation for community and public relations, issues management, and media relations. Previous roles include serving as the Manager of Media and Public Affairs at Fremantle Port Authority and working as a Senior Journalist and Editor with Community Newspapers.
