Maryam Berenji

Maryam Berenji is a seasoned urban designer currently serving as a Senior Urban Designer at Main Roads Western Australia since February 2023. Prior to this role, Maryam was a Senior Urban Designer at the City of Fremantle from April 2018 to March 2023 and served as Design Studio Coordinator at the Australian Urban Design Research Centre at The University of Western Australia from August 2016 to November 2019. Additional experience includes roles as Landscape Architect and Construction Project Officer at the City of Wanneroo, Landscape Architect at UDLA, Technical & Design Officer at the City of Busselton, and various positions at Emerge Associates and JWERC. Maryam holds a Master of Science in Urban Design from The University of Western Australia, a Master of Science in Environmental Design, and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environment Engineering from the University of Tehran.
