Richard Amoh-Gyimah, PhD, currently serves as a Road Safety Research Analyst and Road Safety Research and Data Coordinator at Main Roads Western Australia, a position held since July 2017. Prior to this, Richard held the role of Transport Socio-Economist (Research Scientist) at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Ghana from February 2011 to July 2017, and worked as an Assistant Planning Officer at the National Road Safety Commission (NRSC) for a brief period in late 2010. Richard's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Transportation from Monash University, achieved between 2013 and 2017, an M.A. in Transport Economics from the University of Leeds, completed in 2009, and dual Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Geography from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, with the Master’s degree obtained in 2008 and the Bachelor’s in 2005.
