Liza Star

Liza Star has extensive work experience in various roles related to information security and education. Liza is currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer, Information Security and ACOs at Main Street Health since July 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an Information Security Engineer at CareBridge from July 2021. Liza also held roles at CareBridge as a Software Developer from January 2021 to July 2021 and as a Quality Assurance Analyst from July 2020 to January 2021. Before transitioning to the field of information security, Liza worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Explore! Community School from July 2019 to June 2020 and as a 5th Grade Teacher at The Shlenker School from August 2016 to May 2018. Liza started their teaching career at Akiva School as a 5th and 6th Grade Humanities Teacher from August 2011 to May 2016.

Liza Star completed their Bachelor of Education - BEd degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Indiana University Bloomington, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. From 2012 to 2016, they pursued their Master of Education - MEd in Reading Teacher Education at Belmont University. In 2020 and 2021, Liza attended the Nashville Software School to study Fullstack Web Development in a bootcamp program. No degree information is provided for this particular experience.
