Francesca Gundrum is an accomplished professional with significant experience in wildlife advocacy and policy. Currently serving as the Director of Advocacy at Maine Audubon since October 2022, Francesca develops and influences wildlife and habitat policies while lobbying at state and federal levels. Previous roles include Policy Advocate and Communications Manager at Maine Conservation Voters and Maine Conservation Alliance, where Francesca elevated the organizations' environmental agendas. Additional experience includes seasonal biologist at Maine Audubon, research scientist at the University of Maine focusing on human-deer interactions, and various positions in marine mammal and wildlife research. Francesca holds a Master’s degree in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Maine and a Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College.
