Michael Best is a Senior Attorney at the National Consumer Law Center, with previous experience as Director of Advocacy Outreach at the Consumer Federation of America and Senior Policy Advocate at the same organization. Michael also worked as a Legal Intern at the House of Representatives Education and the Workforce Committee and as an Attorney Researcher at Change to Win. Best holds a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and a B.S. in Political Science and Philosophy from Northeastern University.

Since 1969, the nonprofit National Consumer Law Center® (NCLC®) has used its expertise in consumer law and energy policy to work for consumer justice and economic security for low-income and other disadvantaged people, including older adults, in the United States.
