Rod MacPhie has gained work experience in various roles and companies over the years.

In 2000, they worked as an Office Manager at Maine Medical Center for one year. From 2001 to 2004, they served as a Medical Sales Specialist at Alpha One Medical.

In 2004, they joined Utz Brands, Inc. as a Route Supervisor, and later became an Assistant District Manager from 2010 to 2015.

In 2015, they started working as a Sales Associate at L.L.Bean for a brief period of two months.

In the same year, they also began their position as Head Usher/Ambassador at Portland Sea Dogs.

In 2016, they took on a role as a Game day Usher at Maine Celtics, where they currently work.

Rod MacPhie attended The Rivers School from 1960 to 1966, where they pursued a College Prep education. Following this, they enrolled at Nichols College from 1967 to 1970 and obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Marketing.
