Caitlin Gerber is an experienced professional currently serving as a Regional Steward at Maine Coast Heritage Trust since May 2014, also holding the title of Summer Stewardship Assistant. Gerber has been a Partner at Chebeague Island Oyster Company since 2014 and previously worked with the Casco Bay Estuary Partnership, focusing on GIS assessments for subembayments of Casco Bay. Prior to that, Gerber developed and taught a preschool program during an Island Fellowship at Island Institute and has held various roles in education and marine services, including a Dock Crew Member at Brewer South Freeport Marine and an Education Intern at Marine Environmental Research Institute. Gerber's international experience includes volunteering in Belize, where planning and teaching computer classes was key. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Community Planning and Development from the Muskie School of Public Service, University of Southern Maine, and a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from Dalhousie University.
