Kaileigh Sweeney

Associate Director Of Data Operations at Maine Coast Heritage Trust

Kaileigh Sweeney has a diverse work experience that spans several organizations and roles. Kaileigh started their career as a Library Aide at Fogler Library from September 2007 to December 2011. In May 2011, they worked as an Entomology Assistant at the Maine Forest Service for a few months. From May to September 2012, they worked as a Pest Survey Technician at USDA. At the University of Maine Graduate School, they served as an Administrative Clerk from November 2012 to May 2014. In July 2014, they joined the Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources as a Pest Survey Technician until February 2015. Finally, Kaileigh has been working at the Maine Coast Heritage Trust since May 2015. Kaileigh initially held the role of Development & Land Protection Administrative Assistant until November 2020 when they became the Associate Director of Data Operations.

Kaileigh Sweeney attended the University of Maine from 2007 to 2011 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including CPR from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in May 2014, Wilderness First Responder from Stonehearth Open Learning Opportunities (SOLO) in May 2014, Defensive Driving Course from the National Safety Council in 2012, Touchstone Social Network from the University of Maine in 2011, and Project Learning Tree and Project W.E.T. in 2010.
