Maine College of Art
Isaac Kestenbaum holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and English from Vassar College and has extensive experience in documentary storytelling and media production. As the Director of the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies at MECA since July 2020, Isaac leads educational initiatives in documentary practices. Concurrently, Isaac serves as Co-Founder and Creative Director of Future Projects Media since January 2018. Previously, Isaac held the position of Lead Producer at Frontier of Change, focusing on climate change narratives in rural Alaska, and worked as General Manager at Cowbird, a platform for storytelling. Isaac's earlier career includes significant roles as Production Manager at StoryCorps and as a reporter for both The Portland Press Herald and Penobscot Bay Press. Additionally, Isaac contributed to education as a Robotics Instructor at Vision Education & Media.
