Maranda Chung is an experienced professional in the fields of education and program management, currently serving as the Science Team Lead at the Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance since August 2022. In this role, Maranda contributes to organizational growth and program development while managing a $1.3 million National Science Foundation-funded SciEPlay project aimed at enhancing play-based science and engineering practices in early education. Prior experience includes positions such as Associate Director of Admissions at the Chewonki Foundation, Education Programs Manager at Wolfe's Neck Center for Agriculture and the Environment, and Youth Development Manager at Hidden Villa. An educational background in Environmental Studies from Skidmore College, along with international experience from the School for International Training, supports a strong commitment to experiential and sustainable education.
