Perrin Chick

STEM Education Specialist at Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance

Perrin Chick has extensive experience in education and STEM fields, currently serving as a Library Advisor Board Member at South Berwick Public Library since June 2023 and as a STEM Education Specialist for the MAINE MATHEMATICS AND SCIENCE ALLIANCE since April 2016. Previously, Perrin held the position of Education Director at Seacoast Science Center from February 2002 to April 2016, where responsibilities included designing and managing programs that attracted 80,000 visitors annually and developing trainings for volunteers and staff. Additional experience includes serving as a Board Member for the New England Ocean Science Education Collaborative from 2007 to 2011 and working as a Classroom Teacher at Newbury Elementary School from August 1998 to June 2001, where engagement of middle school students in various subjects was a focus. Perrin earned a Master’s degree in Curriculum Development from the University of New Hampshire between 1996 and 1998, following a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the same institution from 1992 to 1996.
