Christine Peura is currently an Intern in the school-based counseling program at Greater Portland Health, having started in September 2023. Prior to this role, Christine has held multiple positions at the MaineHealth Institute for Research since August 2011, including Research Assistant, Research Coordinator for the Autism and Developmental Disorders Inpatient Research Collaborative, and Research Assistant II at the Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation. Additionally, Christine completed an internship in Behavioral Health Integration at Maine Behavioral Healthcare during summer 2023. Education includes a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, with a focus on Creative Arts, from the University of Maine at Farmington (expected May 2024), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Holistic & Integrative Health, and Public Health from the University of Southern Maine (2011). Christine has also pursued various certifications in yoga and special needs education.
