Emma Koukos is a Clinical Research Coordinator at MaineHealth Institute for Research since November 2021. Emma has a robust background in the scientific and healthcare fields, having worked as a Technical Manufacturing Chemist at Abbott, where responsibilities included producing bioreagents and conducting quality control for the BinaxNOW COVID-19 Ag CARD Rapid Test. Emma's experience also includes shadowing a physician assistant at The University of Vermont Health Network and participating as a WFIRM Summer Scholar, performing research in integrative miRNA-mRNA analysis. Emma holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Saint Michael's College, complemented by diverse roles in healthcare, food service, and education.
