Madhura Nijsure is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at MaineHealth Institute for Research, specializing in the differentiation of human induced pluripotent stem cells to study neurodegenerative disorders, a role held since July 2025. Previously, Madhura pursued a PhD at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2019 to July 2025, and served as a Doctoral Student. Prior experience includes an Assistant Scientist position at The New York Stem Cell Foundation Research Institute, focusing on neurodegenerative diseases from December 2017 to July 2019, and Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant roles at Florida Institute of Technology between August 2015 and October 2017. Madhura's early career includes a Graduate Engineering Trainee position at Maire Tecnimont and an internship at Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Ltd., alongside tutoring German at Appolo private tuitions. Madhura holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Florida Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
