Rebecca Mountain

Rebecca Mountain is a Staff Scientist I at the MaineHealth Institute for Research since March 2021, previously serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Motyl Lab, focusing on the impact of social isolation on bone health. Prior to this role, Rebecca worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Dunn Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital, exploring biomarkers in hard tissues. Additional experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Harvard Medical School, a Lecturer at Great Bay Community College, and an Instructor and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Arizona. Rebecca's academic background includes a PhD and MA in Anthropology from the University of Arizona and a BA in Anthropology from Boston University.
