Heidi Wierman

Dr. Heidi Wierman has been a practicing Geriatrician at Maine Medical Center (MMC) since 2002, and is the division director for Geriatrics at MMC and Medical Director for Healthy Aging at MaineHealth. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine with the Tufts University School of Medicine and formerly the Director of the Geriatrics Fellowship at MMC.

She is Board Certified in both Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine, and received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Oregon, Magna Cum Laude, and her medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University. She completed residency at Maine Medical Center and Geriatrics Fellowship at University of Rochester.

Dr. Wierman is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, and is a member of the Association of Directors of Geriatric Academic Programs and of the American Geriatrics Society.
