Joanne Schade-Boyce

Joanne Schade-Boyce, MS, BSDH, CPC, ACS, serves as the Director of HB Revenue Integrity at MaineHealth since December 2017. With extensive experience in revenue cycle auditing and ICD-10 training since February 1992 through CodeMed Solutions, LLC, and FairCode Associates, LLC, Joanne has successfully performed coding and auditing for various healthcare facilities, achieving a 32% increase in documentation and coding accuracy. Prior roles include Director of Education & Curriculum at HRAA, where Joanne developed training modules for ICD-10 and managed audits presented to hospital executives, and founder of JSB & Associates, providing management consulting and risk management education. In earlier positions, Joanne excelled as Cedeta Specialist for the Mid-Atlantic Region. Educational credentials include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science from Old Dominion University, as well as an A.A.S. in Dental Hygiene and a Dental Assisting Certificate from Northern Virginia Community College.
